Pomegranate juice mixes perfectly with tequila and lime juice in this Pomegranate Margarita. It's easy to prep ahead of time, only four ingredients and a wintery version of your favorite cocktail!

I am a firm believer that margaritas are a year-round drink, which is why this pomegranate margarita is going down today! I know that when many people think of "margarita" they think of summertime and vacation, but for me, margaritas are delicious any time of year.

Sure, the classic version might be more summertime appropriate, but there are so many different flavors you can add to make the drink taste a tad more...wintery. Like, pear juice or pomegranate juice, for example. This drink is super easy to prep ahead of time OR whip up last minute -- the best of both worlds, really.

HOW TO MAKE A POMEGRANATE MARGARITA

This drink recipe is no different than most. I recommend using a cocktail shaker so the tequila is able to evenly mix with the pomegranate and lime juice. The recipe itself makes approximately 4 drinks, so if you need more than that just go ahead and double the recipe!

To make a margarita, add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, shake for a few seconds, then pour the drink over ice. Viola, easy peasy!

TIP: make sure you take a taste of the drink before pouring it into glasses to see if you want to add more tequila to make it stronger, or more pomegranate juice to make it fruitier.

WHERE CAN I FIND POMEGRANATE JUICE?

I was able to easily find some at Whole Foods, and I believe Giant Eagle sells some too. If you aren't sure if your local grocery store sells it, just call and ask! Or of course, you can order some online if that's easier.

HOW LONG DOES THIS LAST?

Not long 🙂 Just kidding. You can prep this drink up to three days in advance and store it in the refrigerator, though I will note that the longer it sits in the refrigerator, the strong it tastes!
