This White Truffle Pizza uses truffle oil as a base and is topped with plenty of cheese, mushrooms, arugula and french fries! If you like truffle oil, you’ll love this pizza recipe.

White Truffle Pizza made with truffle oil and topped with FRENCH FRIES!

What are your thoughts on white pizza, aka pizza minus the sauce? Personally, I adore it, though I can’t say Miguel feels the same way so I definitely don’t get to eat it as often as I’d like. <—want to know how to win that battle? Add french fries. Whatever the food is, there’s a good chance fries will take it up a notch and maybe even make it husband-approved.

Second question: truffle oil. Yeah that wasn’t really a question.. what I mean is, do you like it? I feel like it can be a bit tricky to use because there really aren’t a ton of foods that pair well with it, mostly because it has such a unique flavor. But I promise you mushrooms, cheese and fries all pair REALLY well with it. Another thing about truffle oil that kind of gets me is that it’s expensive! The cost somewhat baffles me, BUTTTTT you must know that a little truffle oil goes a long way, unlike olive oil, etc. So once you buy one bottle, there’s a good chance it’ll last you months and months.

I feel like I’m doing a horrible job at selling you on truffle oil. Here’s the thing though, you either love it or you don’t, plain and simple. If you’re on team “love”, then you’re probably already sold and maybe even have a bottle readily available to prepare this truffle pizza?! Let’s talk this recipe through.

You’ll start with some pre-made pizza dough (the actual ball of dough though—I usually get mine from the refrigerated section of Trader Joe’s or the frozen section at Whole Foods—and then you’ll drizzle it with some truffle oil. Remember, a little goes a long way! Plus, if the end result isn’t “truffley” enough for ya, you can always drizzle more over top. Once you’ve added the oil, you can add the cheese, mushrooms and proscuitto, and then wait until the end to add the arugula and french fries. For the fries, I hoped to use store bought frozen fries (I really like the Alexia brand), but if you want to take it up a notch feel free to make homemade fries! More power to ya.

That’s it friend! I guarantee if you like truffle oil you will LOVE this white truffle pizza.

Truffle oil is so freaking good. I love white pizzas and luckily Riley does too, so I bet we'd both love this one!
