Ohhh I’m SO excited to be writing this post right now! Over the years, I’ve determined that you guys love two things: 1) dinner recipes and 2) dinner recipes that require just 30 minutes or less to prep. So, I thought it would be fun to do a 30 minute dinner recipe challenge. What’s it all about? Let me explain.
HOW THE DINNER RECIPE CHALLENGE WORKS
Starting April 1, 2019 I’m going to be posting FOUR 30 minute dinner recipes, one recipe each day within the first week of April. The recipes will be posted on my blog like they normally are, but at the beginning of the post I’ll indicate that the recipe is part of the challenge. Then you—yes, YOU—will have the whole month to make as many of the four recipes as you’d like. Once you’ve made a recipe, simply snap a photo of it and tag me on Instagram by tapping on the photo and physically tagging me IN the photo, then use the hashtag #thealmondeater.
Once I have your recipe submission, I’ll enter it into a spreadsheet. Each recipe you make counts as 1 entry, so if you only make one of the recipes then you’ll receive one entry and if you make all four then you’ll be entered into the spreadsheet four times.
THE PRIZE
At the end of the month, I’ll count all the entries from the spreadsheet and then enter them into a random number generator to choose a winner. The winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card! The challenge is open to ANYONE—yes anyone. The challenge runs from April 1-April 30, 2019.
THE RECIPES
The recipes in the challenge can all be prepared in 30 minutes, and I tried to include a variety of recipes to make cooking FUN but also quick and healthy. I was going to give you clues, but I don’t want to spoil it.
1st recipe: Vodka Rigatoni
2nd recipe: Blackened Shrimp Tacos
3rd recipe: Broccoli Stir Fry
4th recipe: Weeknight Veggie Pizza
I’m SO excited to kick this off next week!
