Iced Lavender Dirty Chai Latte

Lavender chai simple syrup:
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 8 whole cloves
- 2 ” piece ginger peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp lavender buds
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
For the latte:
- 1 tbsp lavender chai simple syrup plus more to taste
- 2 shots espresso
- ½ cup milk of choice
- Ice
Add all syrup ingredients to a small saucepan then bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Pour mixture through a fine mesh strainer, then allow syrup to cool before using it.
For the drink, fill a glass with ice, then add one tablespoon of the syrup. Pour the espresso over top, then add milk. Taste and add more syrup if you’d like. Enjoy!
*For a sweeter latte, use up to 2 tablespoons of syrup
*Store leftover lavender chai simple syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month
