Cottage Cheese Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk or more as needed
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp basil
  • 1/8 tsp oregano
  • 3/4 cup parmesan freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp butter melted and add in when warming sauce

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients EXCEPT the butter to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour mixture to a saucepan, along with the butter, and whisk over medium-low heat until a simmer is reached. Then turn the heat to low and stir while it thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Add more seasonings if desired.
  • Remove from the heat and serve over your favorite pasta. Enjoy!
