Chicken Sausage Pizza

A family pizza night calls for this Chicken Sausage Pizza! Topped with chicken sausage, gooey mozzarella cheese, fresh tomatoes, and parmesan, it’s a meaty yet light main dish everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough or try my cauliflower crust
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 chicken sausage link sliced into rounds
  • 1/3 cup tomatoes diced
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 500° F. Roll the pizza dough out into a circle, then place it onto a baking sheet.
  • Add the sauce, using the back of a spoon to spread it all over the dough. Then, add the oregano, basil and red pepper flakes. Top those with the mozzarella cheese, then the chicken sausage, tomatoes and parmesan.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes.
  • Transfer to a cutting board and let the pizza sit for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
