Servings: 10
- 1 lb. ground chicken
- 1 small apple finely diced*
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp sage
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Add all of the ingredients except the oil to a large bowl, then use your hands to gently combine everything. Form the mixture into 10 sausage patties.
Heat the oil in a large skillet (or use two smaller skillets). Once hot, add the chicken sausage and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and the chicken is cooked through.
Serve and enjoy!
*Calories are per serving and are an estimation.
*Be sure to dice the apple really small! That way, it actually cooks in the skillet. If the apple is too large, it’ll still be hard once the sausage is cooked.
