Air Fryer Steak

This Air Fryer Steak recipe will quickly become your favorite way to cook steak! Simply season it, then place it in your air fryer for a perfect steak that's cooked to your liking.

Ingredients

  • 2 striploin steaks 1" thick each
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • serve with garlic butter

Instructions

  • Remove steaks from the fridge and place them on a plate. Allow them to sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
  • Next, blot the steaks with a paper towel, then season with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. While it’s preheating, brush steaks with the olive oil all over.
  • Place steaks into the air fryer basket. For medium-rare, cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. For medium, cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through. See full blog post for additional cook times if you prefer your steak cooked a different way.
  • Transfer the steak to a cutting board and allow them to rest for 5 minutes. Serve with garlic butter and enjoy!
