Healthy Mongolian Beef
This Healthy Mongolian Beef is a lightened up version of the classic recipe. It's ready in just a few minutes and the sauce is incredibly flavorful, meaning you'll want to add this meal to your weekly dinner rotation!
for the sauce:
- 1/4 cup tamari*
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1 tbsp arrowroot or cornstarch
Whisk sauce ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat, then add the Sliced Beef Sirloin and cook for 20-30 seconds per side or until it's cooked to your preference. According to the packaging, the recommended cook time is 30-60 seconds per side.
Reduce heat to low, then pour the sauce into the skillet. After 1-2 minutes, the sauce should thicken, so be sure to move the beef around so that it gets coated in the sauce. Then, remove the skillet from the heat.
Pour rice into a bowl, then top it with the beef and green onions. Enjoy!
