Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • ¾ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut or sliced almonds

Instructions

  • Thinly slice bananas and set aside. Pour shredded coconut OR sliced almonds (whichever you want to use) into a bowl and set aside. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt chocolate chips, coconut oil and peanut butter in a saucepan or in the microwave in 30 second intervals until the chocolate is smooth.
  • Drop banana slices into the bowl of melted chocolate and use a fork to make sure it's coated. Place them directly into the bowl of coconut/almonds, then onto the baking sheet. Repeat this same process with all of the banana slices.
  • Place the baking sheet into the freezer for at least 30 minutes until the chocolate hardens. Store banana bites in the freezer in a bag or container and enjoy as an afternoon treat!
