Start by making the cranberry syrup: combine cranberries, water, sugar, and cinnamon together. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and simmer for 10 minutes, using a spoon to help break the cranberries down. Strain cranberries out and reserve the syrup. Allow syrup to come to room temperature before using.
For the cocktail: pour syrup, orange juice and liquor into a cocktail shaker and shake, shake, shake!
Strain and enjoy!
