Brie Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened
  • ½ apple thinly sliced
  • 4 oz. brie cheese or more; thinly sliced
  • 2 slices prosciutto

Instructions

  • Butter two one side of two slices of bread and place one of the bread slices butter-side down in a nonstick skillet.
  • Add half of the apple slices on top of the bread, then half of the cheese and last, one slice of prosciutto. Place the second piece of bread, butter-side up on top.
  • Heat the sandwich over medium heat and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bread is golden brown. Use a spatula to carefully flip it over. Place a lid on the skillet and cook for 1-2 more minutes on the second side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melty.
  • Repeat this for the second sandwich. Slice and enjoy!
