Microwave Mac and Cheese
Microwave Mac and Cheese is the easiest weeknight dinner you'll ever make! The entire meal is made in the microwave in just 5 minutes and loaded with broccoli and cheese, making it a great meal for the whole family.

- ½ cup frozen broccoli thawed and chopped
- ½ cup pasta
- ⅓ cup water
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup milk
- ⅔ cup shredded cheddar cheese or more
- hot sauce, chives, black pepper optional toppings
Add broccoli, pasta, water, and salt to a microwave-safe bowl.
Place bowl in your Galanz ExpressWave Microwave, then turn the cook time nob to 3 minutes and cook.
Remove bowl, then stir in the milk and cheese and place the bowl back into the microwave for 45 seconds.
Stir everything together, then wait 1 minutes before doing a taste test. If the pasta still isn't cooked, place the bowl back in the microwave for 15 seconds.
Top mac and cheese with more cheese/hot sauce/chives/black pepper and enjoy!

*Cook times vary depending on the kind of pasta noodle you use and the brand. If pasta still isn't cooked, place it back in the microwave for 15 seconds. If mixture seems too dry, add 1 more tablespoon of water.
*If you don't like broccoli, try using frozen peas, cauliflower or mixed vegetables instead.
*Using higher quality cheese will result in a creamier texture. I found Tillamook and Organic Valley shredded cheeses to melt really well.
