Zucchini Cacao Smoothie (paleo, dairy free, vegan)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cauliflower or cauliflower rice
  • 1/2 zucchini
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds or cashews
  • 5 pitted dates
  • 2 tbsp cacao
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • Ice
  • Optional add-ins:
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 2 tbsp almond or cashew butter
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds

Instructions

  • Place ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

*Save the other half of the zucchini and banana for the next time you make a smoothie! I sliced both of mine, placed them in a plastic bag and into the freezer.
