S'mores Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 tbsp cacao or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt*
  • 1-2 tbsp crushed graham crackers
  • Optional: 2 tbsp dark chocolate chopped

Instructions

  • Combine oats and cacao in a jar and set aside.
  • Mix milk and syrup together in a bowl and then pour over oats; stir to combine.
  • Place yogurt on top and then then put the oats in the refrigerator over night, or for at least two hours.
  • Remove from refrigerator, sprinkle with crushed graham crackers and dark chocolate and enjoy!

Notes

*Use dairy free yogurt for vegan option. Alternatively, if you don't love yogurt (I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't...), you can use 2 tbsp yogurt and 2 tbsp mascarpone cheese instead. It makes this a bit sweeter and it's oh so good!
