Simple Bacon Guacamole

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup red onion diced
  • 1/2 serrano pepper chopped*
  • 1 vine ripe tomato diced
  • Handful of cilantro
  • 3 slices of bacon torn into pieces
  • Salt to taste


  • Cook bacon in a skillet over stovetop. Once bacon is done cooking, place on a paper towel and allow a few minutes for it to cool before breaking it into small, bite-size pieces.
  • While bacon is cooking, dice onion, tomato and pepper and set aside.
  • Place avocado in a bowl, add lime juice and then mash the avocados with a fork.
  • Stir in onion, tomato and pepper.
  • Last, stir in cilantro, bacon and salt.
  • Serve with chips and enjoy!


*Or a full pepper. I'm a wimp when it comes to spice to I just used 1/2
**I failed to measure the exact serving size, but I'm guessing it's around 2 cups
