Maple Glazed Salmon

  • If the salmon if frozen, be sure to thaw it according to the package instructions.
  • Preheat oven to 400°. Whisk the maple syrup, soy sauce and garlic cloves together in a bowl; set aside.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil, then place the salmon on top. Pat it dry, then sprinkle each salmon fillet with a pinch of salt.
  • Brush HALF of the marinade over the salmon, then bake it for 12 minutes. While the salmon is baking, add the remaining marinade to a small saucepan, then whisk in the cornstarch. Heat it over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until it's thickened into a glaze, 2-5 minutes.
  • Once the 12 minutes are up, switch the oven to BROIL and broil the salmon for 2-3 minutes. Brush the glaze over the salmon before serving. Enjoy!
