Sauté onion, garlic, parsley, thyme, and red pepper flakes in a skillet
Mash lentils

Use a potato masher to mash lentils in a large bowl.
Mix ingredients

Mix cooked lentils, the onion mixture, flax egg, flour, vegan cheese, and breadcrumbs together.
Form meatballs

Use your hands to form lentil mixture into 12 meatballs
Sear meatballs

Sear meatballs in a large skillet with oil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
