I graduated from college yesterday, which is incredibly weird to say since I can still remember my first day so vividly. The graduation ceremony consisted of a few things: hugs, laughs, my roommate’s speech, pictures, and a swarm of families all trying to find their graduate after the ceremony had ended.
This is my roommate, Richelle, who was chosen to be the student speaker at graduation. Her speech was amazing, despite the fact that she only had half of her voice, and I am so proud to call her one of my best friends.
Graduating from a small school has its perks. This is myself and the four other Public Relations majors who graduated yesterday. Yes I said it: FOUR. Small schools FTW! (Please ignore the horrible photo quality).
After graduation, I had to get some pictures with the fam bam.
Bawwww. I felt incredibly lucky and blessed to have most of my family members come to my graduation. To see all of them cheering me on and supporting me was such an incredible feeling.
Normally, I would post pictures of the healthy meal I ate after the ceremony, but I did not eat a healthy meal yesterday. I indulged by eating soup, bruschetta, shrimp, pasta, green beans, and cake instead. ALMOST healthy, but not quite. It was so delish, I couldn’t resist. Tomorrow, however, I plan on going for a jog outside, as long as the weather continues to be as nice as it has been.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and always remember to appreciate the people in your life. A simple “thank you” goes a long way 🙂
