Make the hummus in your food processor then set aside.
Make the pesto in your blender by combining the carrot tops, garlic, basil, salt, pine nuts, olive oil, and water together; blend until smooth, then add the pesto to the food processor with the hummus and pulse until they’re combined.
Place pita/naan onto a baking sheet, then spread carrot top pesto hummus over top of each piece. Add flatbread toppings (tomatoes, pine nuts, cheese, etc.), then bake the flatbread for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the edges are crispy.
