Matcha snickerdoodles take the classic snickerdoodle full of cinnamon and add a bit of matcha powder–what’s not to love?!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Combine flour, 1 tsp matcha, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl; set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and brown sugar together, then add egg and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then stir in 1 tsp matcha powder by hand.
  5. Pour sugar and cinnamon out onto a plate; stir to combine.
  6. Use your hands to roll cookie dough into balls, then roll the balls into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place them on a baking sheet 2″ apart.
  7. Bake cookies for 12 minutes; allow 5 minutes or so for them to cool a bit.
  8. Enjoy!
