This Peanut Butter S’mores Milkshake is made with vanilla ice cream, graham crackers, marshmallows, and plenty of peanut butter to fill your ice cream craving!
UMMM HIIII this is the milkshake of my dreams!! And honestly quite *extra*— I mean, peanut butter and marshmallows?! I was having a moment when I created it. And by “a moment” I mean a serious sugar craving, clearly.
The truth is that ice cream might be my all time favorite dessert, meaning when I crave sweets, I want ice cream. Not cookies, not cake, not brownies, but ice cream. So, sometimes I venture out of my house and buy ice cream, but other times—like when I’m already in my sweats—I don’t feel like leaving the house. I need something that would fill my sugar craving but that I can make at home. Insert: this peanut butter s’mores milkshake.
I often think (as do a lot of other people) that chocolate peanut butter is the ultimate combination. But for those of us (errrr…. me) trying to avoid chocolate, you quickly realize there are a lot of other really delicious flavor combinations. Side note: I actually remember the first time I ever tried a plain peanut butter milkshake. I was in high school and I’d just returned from a day of boating with my friend and her dad. On the way home, he stopped at a nearby ice cream shop and ordered a peanut butter milkshake for himself. I was so intrigued, I decided to order one myself. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER. Previous to that moment, I’m pretty sure I’d always gotten chocolate peanut butter milkshakes. Boy was I missing out.
This peanut butter S’MORES milkshake is basically a peanut butter milkshake but amplified. Think peanut butter plus graham crackers plus marshmallows. And yes, this is a milkshake, so there’s ice cream in it. You can’t fill an ice cream craving with anything other than ice cream. You just can’t.
Nothing else to say other than enjoy this baby! It’s quite tasty.
