UM BYEEEE March, see ya next year. I’m kidding—I’m just excited for warmer weather, but all and all March was a pretty fabulous month. Let’s recap, shall we?
MOST POPULAR RECIPES:
The two most popular recipes from March were my Buffalo Spice Almonds and my Raw Vegan Nutella Cupcakes. Almonds are my favorite, so I obviously back you up on that, and anything Nutella-y is bound to be delicious. Great picks 🙂
MY FAVORITE RECIPES:
As for myyyyy favorite recipes, I was loving on my (clockwise from upper right) No Bake Dark Chocolate Tart, Spanish Rice with Shrimp, Almond Garlic Hummus, and my Paleo Coconut Orange Pancakes. A few of you even made my pancake recipe, which thrilled me! Remember to tag #thealmondeater on Instagram if you make one of my recipes—I love seeing your photos!!
TAE’s “golden moment” in March was having my very first recipe featured on Buzzfeed! And wouldn’t you know my Buffalo Spice Almonds were chosen for their ‘25 Make Ahead Snacks That Are Perfect For Traveling’. I was so excited and thrilled because I absolutely adore this recipe. I love all almonds, but flavored almonds definitely make snacking more exciting.
IN REAL LIFE:
March was a busy month for me per the usual, but I made sure to have some fun. Liiiike having a friend brunch where we all made food, running/walking the steps with Layla for the first time and going out for Angela’s birthday.
As far as brunch goes, I’m a huge fan. I’m even more of a fan of it’s a potluck brunch where we all bring food because YUM and why not save some dolla dolla billz?
I’m SO EXCITED for more stair exercises with Layla, though we have some work to do. She loves running up them but kind of hates going down them.. I always tell her “Layla you can’t go up and not go back down… it doesn’t work like that!” …one of these days she’ll get it.
And then there was Angela’s birthday, which ended up being a super fun night considering I didn’t know any of her friends. I dragged Miguel along and what started out as a night where I had a mild headache and was only planning on having one drink turned into my headache somewhat going away and having, well, more than one drink and drunken gyros later that night. THANKS ANG for being born and stuff. Xoxo
COMING IN APRIL:
Sooo what should you expect in the upcoming month? More recipes of course! I have plenty brainstormed but I’ll also be asking YOU what you’d like to see more of via Facebook. If we aren’t connected already, let’s connect! I take your opinions seriously and want to share USEFUL content, not fluff. Well, maybe a little fluff because a little fluff is fun.
Another thing I’m looking forward to is a wider variety of recipes. I realized that in February I shared A LOT of dessert recipes and this past month I shared A LOT of breakfast recipes, so I’m trying to share a wider variety in April. Hopefully that’s cool with you guys!
I’ll see you back here tomorrow with a fun little post planned 🙂 Have a great day!
